The 2017 Yamaha Grizzly EPS SE and 2018 Star Venture are large Yamahas designed to make distance easier, but not the same kind of distance. The Grizzly is a single-rider utility ATV for rough ground and off-road work. The Star Venture is a two-up luxury touring motorcycle developed for North American highways.
Neither is light, inexpensive or particularly interested in being carried upstairs. Their common ground is torque, comfort and Yamaha’s determination to help the rider move a substantial machine.

Working Off Road or Touring on Pavement?
The Grizzly uses independent suspension, electric power steering, low-range gearing and cargo racks to handle trails and property work. It is not a conventional road vehicle and should be transported and operated according to local rules.
The Star Venture supplies cruise control, traction control, riding modes, an adjustable windscreen, infotainment and integrated luggage. Its SURE-PARK electric motor creeps the motorcycle forward or backward during parking maneuvers, useful when 434 kg has developed an opinion about gravity.
Choose the Grizzly for slow, controlled work on difficult terrain. Choose the Star Venture for long paved trips with a passenger and luggage. The ATV carries cargo on racks; the tourer carries it behind color-matched lids and then plays music about freedom.
