The Renault Lodgy Stepway 7-seater was an India-focused diesel MPV designed for families needing three rows without moving into a full-size van. Stepway trim added more rugged-looking bumpers, wheel-arch cladding, roof rails and other visual changes to the standard Lodgy, although no one would confuse it with a rock-crawling special after looking underneath.
In the initial Stepway range, the seven-seat layout was paired with the RXZ 110 PS specification. Other listed versions used an eight-seat arrangement. The seven-seater’s second row used individual captain-style seats, giving easier access to the third row and a more comfortable layout for four adults.

Practicality and Used-Buyer Notes
The 110 PS engine used a six-speed manual, while the lower-output 85 PS Lodgy used a five-speed. For highway travel with passengers, the 110’s 245 Nm torque rating and extra ratio made it the more suitable combination. The long 2,810 mm wheelbase helped create useful cabin space, and the flexible rear seating allowed the Lodgy to trade passenger capacity for cargo room.
RXZ equipment included items such as touchscreen navigation, cruise control with a speed limiter, rear parking assistance and a reversing camera, depending on production date. On a used Lodgy Stepway, inspect the diesel powertrain, clutch, suspension and air conditioning, then verify that the removable or folding seats and their latches are present and working.
