Why We Have a Privacy Policy

At FuelArc.com, we believe in your right to read the news in private. We’re here to bring you the latest and greatest in automotive news.

That said, running a website costs money. We use advertising and affiliate links to keep the engines running, pay our writers, and maintain the site. This means our site uses cookies and tracking technologies to serve ads and analyze site traffic.

We want you to know exactly what data is collected and why. Below, you’ll find all the details in plain English (followed by the legally required jargon).

Legal Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

When you visit FuelArc.com, we automatically collect certain non-personal information, including:

  • Log data (your browser type, operating system, IP address, and pages viewed)
  • Cookies and tracking technologies (for ads, analytics, and affiliate links)

This privacy policy discloses to you, the user, that third parties may be placing and reading cookies on your browsers, or using web beacons to collect information as a result of ad serving on the website.

How Google uses data when you use our partners’ sites or apps.

We do not collect personal information such as your name, email, or other personal information unless you voluntarily provide it (e.g., subscribing to a newsletter).

2. How We Use Your Information

The information collected is used for:

  • Advertising & Monetization – We display ads via Google Adsense and earn commissions on clearly labeled Amazon Associate links.
  • Website Analytics – We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our site.
  • Site Performance & Security – We track basic traffic data to detect spam, fraud, and site errors.

3. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies for:

  • Google Adsense Ads – Personalized ads based on your browsing behavior. You can opt out via Google’s Ad Settings.
  • Google Analytics – Tracks site traffic and user behavior. Google may store and process this data.

How to Disable Cookies – You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some site features may not work properly.

4. Artificial Intelligence

We use AI-assisted tools to help with content generation in certain cases, but every article is reviewed by human editors before publication.

We use a couple guiding principles here, all fairly common-sense stuff:

  • AI-generated content is fact-checked and edited for accuracy, per our normal editorial standards.
  • We do not use AI to collect personal data or make automated decisions about users.

5. Third-Party Services & Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data, but we do share non-personal information with:

  • Google (Adsense & Analytics)
  • Amazon Associates (Affiliate Tracking)
  • Other third-party ad networks (if applicable in the future)

These companies have their own privacy policies that govern how they use data.

6. Your Rights & Choices

You have the right to:
Opt out of targeted ads via Google’s Ad Settings
Disable cookies in your browser
Request deletion of personal data (if we ever collect any in the future)

7. Data Security
